Do you need a license?

1. License is an official document issued by the licensing body to the applicant for the implementation of the relevant type of entrepreneurial activity. 2. General license - a license that gives the right to carry out the type of activity required by the license without obtaining a separate license for each of its subtypes. 3. Special license – a license that gives the right to perform one or more subtypes of the required type of activity.

Who can be an applicant?

The applicant is a legal entity, a branch, representative office of a foreign legal entity, and an individual entrepreneur, regardless of its organizational legal form, who applies to the licensing body for obtaining a license.

Where can I apply?

SME houses, "Licenses and permits" portal and 11 "ASAN service" centers (5 Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Sabirabad, Barda, Guba, Gabala, Masalli, Mingachevir, Imishli and Sheki) provide services to entrepreneurs for issuing licenses, accept applications and issue licenses.

What are the required documents?

Application, documents attached to the application. If the applicant is a legal entity, a branch or representative office of a foreign legal entity, a copy of the extract from the state register of legal entities, if the applicant is an individual entrepreneur, a copy of the identity card, a copy of the certificate of registration of the applicant as a taxpayer, the applicant's ownership and use of each of the objects mentioned in the application or a copy of the document confirming the right to rent, documents confirming the fulfillment of the license conditions are attached. • Depending on the type of activity, documents confirming the fulfillment of the conditions defined by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan and additional conditions defined by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 174 dated November 7, 2002).
